Today I was left at home to take care of our little store
just beside our house. The petite store only sells basic commodities like rice,
canned goods, junk foods, cold beers and cigarettes. My wife and son went with
some neighbors to the Kagay-an Resort, a newly developed resort in our town, southeast
of Cagayan de Oro City. I let my wife took care of this small business for
sometime and I never knew the operations that it why I was left looking how
much the price of every item my neighbor bought. Then after several hours of
pondering at our small business, I realized that we ventured in a business of
only a little profit, if there is any. We only have several cents for every
item sold. Well, we only have a small capital and we cannot expect venturing in
other good business like putting up a restaurant, computer shop or an internet
business. I was kind of thinking if our little profit could cope up with the
electric consumption everyday. I’m afraid we may just be exerting efforts of a
no profit business venture. God, help us find more capital in the future.
Nothing is impossible with you.
